Need help with refund and cancellation
-
Hello,
I had a charge show up on my account from WordPress today. I have a personal sight that I have not touched in months. It is: pioneerstoryteller.com
I was able to locate the reason for the charge and it connected to the above sight, and also to domain: pioneerstorytellerblog.com
When I log into WP there is nothing about these services or charges. There is nothing under billing and I have no option to cancel anything. I checked my inbox and there is nothing from WP notifying me of these pending charges. I tried to email customer service and was informed I have a free site, and to post in this forum.
Please help, I need to cancel the services I am being charged for and receive a refund as this is not in my budget. I plan on deleting this site/service entirely as it has no current purpose but I need this issue addressed first. Thanks!

Hi there!
The upgrades for that site are under a different WordPress.com user account than the one you’re currently logged into.
If you don’t remember what username or password you used for that account and since you have recent charges for the account, you can use the Account Recovery form to prove ownership of the site, then WordPress.com support can help you from there. You can find that form here:
https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery
Just fill out as much information as you have, including an email address where Support can get in touch. The transaction ID will be on your bank statement as
WordPressfollowed by a ten-digit letter/number code. They’ll look like this:WordPress XXXXXXXXXXYou can read more about what the account recovery process entails here:
https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/
Once you establish ownership of the account, WordPress.com Support can help you with that refund. Note that domain registrations can only be refunded within 96 hours of the renewal, so you should start this process as soon as possible.
I hope that helps!
