Need help with renewing subscription (and keeping domain name)

Hi there, I am trying to renew our subscription for our lab website (on behalf of my supervisor) but when the credit card information is put in, I get a message about not being the original purchaser of the website name. A previous lab member from a few years back was the person who signed up for the site so I assume that he’s the ‘owner’ who’s associated with the website. I’d like to transfer the owner’s name to my supervisor and pay for another year’s subscription.

I would be happy to assist you in cancelling and refunding your purchase. However to confirm ownership, the owner of the account and upgrade needs to either post in this thread and consent to the transfer or log into their account and transfer the site over to you. Then, you should be able to renew the subscription purchase.

Hi Darnell. I don’t want to cancel the account, I want to renew it. The deadline is Saturday and despite transferring the ownership of the blog to the right person, we still can’t pay!

Hi Darnell, I think we resolved the issue. It turned out that the ownership hadn’t gone through when we thought it had. Could you confirm (for peace of mind!) that @annesalomon is the owner of the blog and that we have no outstanding issues with the domain??
