Need Help with Rollover Image

  Hi everyone!

  I’m new to WordPress and these forums and I am needing some support with creating a similar effect to what Asheville, NC’s Chamber of Commerce is using for their menu images. It appears to be a rollover image, but I have not been able to figure out a way to make something similar. Do you know of any ways that I could accomplish a similar effect?

  Hi Jordan,

  CSS is theme dependent so it can you reply with either a link to your WordPress.com site or let me know which theme you’re using. Your forum username is linked to this site but it appears empty.

  It sounds like you’ve tried a few things already so it would be good to see what CSS you’ve applied that hasn’t quite worked out so it’s easier to tell what sort of look you’re going for.

  The theme I have been using is Photolite, and so far I haven’t tried altering the CSS on its own (not really sure where to begin to create the effect I want) but I have tried the Menu Image plugin and was unsuccessful. I also tried implementing some JavaScript to create the effect I wanted but it seemed to clash with the theme’s code.

  Ah, your site isn’t hosted here on WordPress.com so you might have more luck asking in the WordPress.org forums or contacting the theme author.
