Need help with slider and page layout (basic stuff)
-
Pretty new to wordpress, just taken over the website where I work. Id like to use the same layout for each page but im struggling.
Id like a slider on the right hand side on the page and to be able to type at the left of it however whenever i insert a slider the text either appears above or below the slider?
id basically like it to look like this
TEXT HERE SLIDER HERE
TEXT HERE TEXT HERE
TEXT HERE TEXT HERE -
Hi there, the site linked to your username has no content. Can we have a link to the site you are talking about please?

Hi. The site I’m working on is http://www.spring.green.nurseries.co.uk
It’s very basic at the moment, I’ve done the home page and I’m happy with the slider taking up the space it does on there. Now I need to do the rest of the pages as the website is very poor. I’d like to set it out how I explained in my first post but I have no idea how really? Once I know this I can crack on with the rest.
Thanks

My browser returns an error on that URL. Can you check it and make sure it is correct? I tried removing the www. and it didn’t work for that one either. I also tried the base URL of nurseries.co.uk and that redirects me to a different domain entirely.

Hi @normgant, thanks for the link. It looks like you are using WordPress but you are not hosted here at WordPress.com. For self-hosted WordPress sites such as yours, I would suggest asking for help from the theme author directly or ask in the volunteer-based WordPress.org Themes and Templates forum.
For general questions on self-hosted WordPress.org installations, visit http://wordpress.org/support/.

@aspieboy123, thanks for the help. Can we ask that you not try and get traffic for your site by adding things such as “please visit my site” and such in your posts in the forums? Thanks a lot in advance.
