Need Help with Splash Pages and WordPress

Hey guys. I really want to set up a splash page that users see when the first go to my site (like once a day they see the splash page then everytime after that go directly to main page) so I can set up ads on the splash page.
My website is gimmegimmegames.com, and I’ve been fooling around with splashgate but I really don’t understand it. I’d prefer if the solution was plugin-based instead of coding but I will do anything to complete this.
Ideally, I’d like a splash page like nintendoeverything.com has when you first go that website.
Any suggestions? Sorry if this is a fairly easy matter to resolve and I’m not seeing it or if this gets asked a lot
