Need help with the Sorbet Theme

  Hello everyone.

  I’m new to all this and I’m having a couple of issues. I need to change the colour and alignment of the widget titles, but no matter what I put in, nothing happens.
  I’ve tried: #widget-title & .widget-title.
  Also, I’d like to change the colour of the masthead, but again. nothing seems to happen.
  After looking at the style sheet for this theme, I’m a total loss?

  Please can anyone help. And if you happen to have the selector codes, all the better. This is the one I need help with:

  To find the right CSS selectors to use, the best thing to do is to use your browser’s web inspector tools to look at the existing CSS and then copy those selectors and add your own CSS rules to make adjustments. Here is a guide:

  I checked http://sdneeveindieauthor.com/category/blog_it/ and looked at the existing CSS for widget titles by right-clicking on them and choosing the “Inspect Element” option. Here is an example that will change the color and alignment of the widget titles:

  #secondary .widget h1 {
  	color: #f00;
  	text-align: center;
  }

  Change the color code and alignment value as needed.

  I assume you want to change the background color of the header area. To do that, add the following CSS to your Appearance > Customize > CSS editor:

  .site-header {
  	background: #405646;
  }
