Need Host For Medical School Laboratory

Good morning,
We have already created a website (through rapidshare) and have a domain name. My lab is currently looking for a host and know wordshare has a free option. What is the process for you wordpress to host our website.

you can’t host wordpress.com somewhere. WordPress.com is an independant hosting platform, wordpress.org is open source software you can download and put it on a server of your choice; https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Thanks for your answer. But my question is “Can we host our website within WordPress?” We have already created our website through RapidShare, and bought the domain. But we need a host. When I google the possible host, WordPress poped up as number one.

To clear up any further confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities.
We, WordPress.com are a cloud-based platform where we manage WordPress sites.
Whereas WordPress.org is a stand-alone software that you can download and self-host with any other hosting.
That being said, you can host your site here, but you’ll want to create it here or import the content from the already created one. If you’d like to import the setup as well, you’ll need plan Business and a migration plugin.
