Need human help
-
We have a paid WP.com plan (Creator), have not used a free domain, should not show transfer fee, shows $12 transfer fee, need human to help me figure out how to remove $12 fee prior to checking out. Visit your website’s dashboard by going to WordPress.com/home.
I have over and over again followed the instructions by the bot…(Clicked on the question mark icon in the upper right corner of your site’s dashboard, clicked ‘Still need help?’,
Type a detailed description of your question/issue under ‘How can we help you today?’, click the ‘Continue’ button, automated response does not help/answer my question/help resolve the issue, try to contact WordPress.com support by clicking/going to support page where the ‘Contact Support’ option is not active or not working, as instructed by the bot click on a WordPress.com/help/contact which only takes me back to the support page where the ‘Contact Support’ Botton does not work!!!!!! Now What??????
A response from this Community Forum said the during check out the $12 charge for fall off/turn to Zero but it does not….NOW WHAT?????WP.com: Yes

Hold your horses! You are getting help from Staff members in all your previous threads – https://wordpress.com/forums/users/caldercalder4/topics/ – but then you simply never follow up!

Hello! The Creator plan on that site still has the free domain credit. However, the plan was purchased on a WordPress.com account that’s different from @caldercalder4. Please log into the account that owns the plan and then transfer the domain in, the credit will apply in that case.

Thanks I hadn’t known where to find the threads, have read them, have now replied to the one that was helpful.

Are you saying the person (the club treasurer) who activated/purchased for the club the Creator plan has to log into the account in order for the $12 transfer fee to not show up? Myself and another club member are setting the site up, had hoped we could manage the transfer without bothering the club treasure.

Yes, the person/account who purchased the plan would need to do that in order for the credit to apply as it’s associated with the plan itself. If they are having trouble doing so, please have them reach out (from their account) to us.
