Need info on Domain Registration

    I’ve been blogging for years on several different blogs, and I feel that now is the time to “settle down” with an official domain name of my own. I’ve been trying to research the best options for doing so, and there’s so much information, and most of it is Greek to me.

    I’m considering purchasing a domain through WordPress (which has been a great platform to blog on), but I don’t really understand the difference between the two options available – domain registration, and the “upgraded package”. Ideally, I’d like to see benefits side by side for each option. Essentially, why should I want to bother spending $100 for the “package” when I could spend $26 on just registration.

    Any help would be appreciated, or if someone could point me in the right direction, that would be great!

    If you just want domain registration and mapping, just buy it. The bundle is for people who want to upload original video but don’t want to put it on YouTube or Vimeo, who want to tinker with custom design, etc, etc. If you don’t need those things, don’t buy them.
