Need info on setting up my existing web domain in wordpress

  I want to use wordpress to set up my web page
  But i want to use my own domain name, and not have “wordpress “ in my web address.
  Help! P.S. I use WordPress for the last 5 years for my blog :)

  To use a custom domain you already own, you can either map it or transfer it. Both will require a paid plan. Here’s more information about mapping your domain:

  If you upgrade to a Personal plan or higher you can then register the custom domain of your choice to display as your site’s address rather than the current one.
