    can i buy the domain for multiple years?

    Hello there!

    You are, indeed, able to purchase for multiple years. To do this, you would start by to first purchasing the domain, by going to Upgrades -> Domains, from your WordPress.com dashboard.

    Once this is done, you can go to Upgrades -> Purchases, and click on your domain name, then click on the ‘Renew now’ button. For each year that you would like to add to the domain’s registration, you would click on ‘Renew now’ and follow the on-screen instructions.

    Note that, in order to set your new domain as the site’s main website URL, you would need a paid website plan. You can review the compared options at the link shared below:

    You are able to use your custom domain with any paid plan, including the Personal plan. To purchase any of those plans on an existing site, you can go to Upgrades -> Plans and click to add the plan you choose. To add a plan to a new site, you can start by creating that site, in the process of which, you will purchase a plan for that site.
