need invoice for charge on credit card

    hey guys, I got a charge on my creditcard from WordPress for:

    [redacted by staff]

    on 11/12/2021 for $53.10. I went through my billing history in my profile, but could not find anything for this. Could you send me an invoice for this charge? If this is not the place to ask for this kind of support, can you let me know who I should speak with to assist with this?

    Hi there,

    That charge isn’t from us – we don’t sell any product called WordPress Office 365, and that’s not a statement descriptor for a transaction made here on WordPress.com.

    The site you indicated above is not hosted with us, but using the open source version of WordPress at another host (it appears in your WordPress.com account because you have it connected here via the Jetpack plugin, but that’s where our involvement with your site ends.

    Office 365 most likely refers to Microsoft’s email hosting service, so I’m guessing that charge relates to an email service your hosting provider sells as an add-on to your WordPress hosting plan with them. So your hosting provider is most likely the people you need to contact about this.

    P.S., I’m redacting the statement descriptor from your post above – this is a public forum, and that reference code could possibly be used by someone to gain access to your account at whichever provider this charge was made.
