  Hello, I’d like to map my domain to a web site in wordpress.com and need the IP address in order to create an A record on my DNS servers. Can you please provide the IP address I should use in order to create an A record on my DNS server?

  Mapping your domain to WordPress.com requires a paid plan, with a Domain Mapping upgrade. The Domain Mapping upgrade is free for the first year of your paid plan.

  Because IP addresses can change for WordPress.com sites, the recommended way of setting up domain mapping is to change Name Servers instead of IP addresses.

  Domain mapping is free with any of our paid plans in general, not just for the first year.
  It’s the domain registration that’s included in the price of the plan for the first year.
