  Total Newbie – Where is WP FAQ before I ask my ‘great questions’

  Any links too free WP Tutorials and resources.

  Thank you folk’s. I went through the FAQ and couldn’t find the answer.

  So if this has been asked before, sorry.

  While playing I made my About page a non-parent. I want to set About as the
  first page seen (succeeded through the FAQ) but how do I make it the Parent
  page again and put the other 4 pages beneath it.

  I’d also like to know how to put links to articles on the left side of the
  “Home” page. No I didn’t look at the FAQ you for this. Couldn’t figure what
  too search for.

  I’m real new to this and don’t want to offend any of the volunteers doing
  such good work.

  Best to link your name to your blog, too:
  How to make your name link to your blog:
  Go into your dashboard -> users -> your profile -> then scroll down to ‘contact info’. In the spot where it says ‘website’ fill in the address of your blog and save the changes.
  Now… when you comment here and on other blogs, your name will link to your blog. If you do this before you post your request for help, it will allow forum volunteers to be able to help you quicker since they won’t have to ask you for a link and wait until you come back to post one.

  If I’m understanding you, you have made your “about” page a static page? Is that what you intended to do?
  At any rate, if your About page is a parent page, and when you add other pages make them child pages:
  edit page > attributes module > drop down menu to choose which page is the parent
  To display your pages in the sidebar, use the “pages widget.”
