need login info to start again

  i had a freelancer build my site for me using wordpress for my business here in texas. however, he now has since relocated to california and i cannot get a hold of him to update my site. he has all the login info and i cannot get a hold of a person at WP to retrieve it. i need to get this fixed asap so i can get my site updated. i’m going to do it all myself. i’ve since given up on mr. california.

  What is the URL of the site you refer to starting with http:// please?

  That is not a wordpress.COM hosted blog. You are posting to the wrong support forum and we cannot help you.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins (passwords), features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.   i was given that this was the login page to go to…but i don’t have the username or email that was used…

  Yes and that is a wordpress.ORG login link.
  It is not a wordpress.COM login link.
  Please post to http://wordpress.org/support/ and register a username account if you do not have one already on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
