  Looking to start a business selling wordpress websites, do I need a plan for this or just keep creating sites and purchase a new domain for everyone?

  Hi there,

  This will depend on how you/your customers plan on using the sites.

  Plans are required to have access to certain features, like using custom CSS to modify the appearance of the theme, install plugins, or have the site appear at your own domain instead of the free WordPress.com one. So if the site needs the features of a particular plan, you’d need to upgrade it to that plan.

  Also note that WordPress.com plans are bought per-site, so if every site needed to have its own custom domain, for example, you’d need at least the Personal Plan for every site.
