  Need my Auth-ID, and have downgraded my plan. And now I can’t get in touch with a human being to get the code

  How do I get my Auth-ID?

  It sounds like you want to transfer a domain away from WordPress.com

  If that is the case, then the auth id is the authorisation code mentioned in the steps here – https://wordpress.com/support/domains/transfer-domain-registration/#step-1-prepare-the-domain-transfer
