  Please send me an answer to the questions I have been asking you about pointing my domain.

  I was told to tell our ISP to use the system of pointing you provided at http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/ to point to our wordpress site fccso.wordpress.com but now our url http://www.christianscience.com goes to this page http://en.wordpress.com/typo/?subdomain=christianscienceottawa. It says http://www.christianscienceottawa.worpress.com doesn’t exist. Do I now have to register the blog for free for http://www.christianscienceottawa.worpress.com? If so I will do this. Will this be be our final step? Will the point work after this? But if I were to register http://www.christianscienceottawa.wordpress.com would it then take the public to my existing wordpress site fccso.wordpress.com or will I have to then have to transfer the complete site I have built and finished to this new wordpress URL? Will it retain my original URL name http://www.christianscienceottawa.ca which was the whole point of this in the first place?)

  I really need your reply on this.

  Just to be clear, you’re talking about the domain http://www.christianscienceottawa.ca correct? It looks like you have the name servers pointed properly. The next step is to purchase the Domain Mapping Upgrade. You referenced the article at http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/ which is exactly the guide to follow.

  The next steps for you are:

  After the name server change takes effect, go to Store -> Domains in your blog’s dashboard, enter the domain into the form at the top of the page, and click the Add domain to blog button. If the name servers are verified, you will be prompted to pay for the upgrade and complete the process.

  After the purchase is complete, go to the Settings -> Domains page, select the radio button next to the domain you just mapped to your blog, and click the Update Primary Domain button.

  Just wondering if you got my response. I had logged out and not sure if you got it.

  This worked and thank you so much for your help. This is amazing!! Just needed to talk me through it even though it was there on their page.

  I’ve been trying to get this to work for over a year with my ISP and now at this end with WordPress.
