Need photo solution for posting hundreds of images

We have a loyal following of people that LOVE to post photos. They posted so many on our Facebook site that now we’ve reached our limit on Facebook (we didn’t even know that was possible). So know we’re looking to WordPress to see if there’s a better photo solution for our readers. Is there something that allows people to upload photos and then lets others comment and rate the photos?

    I’d love any suggestions. Thanks!

Free WordPress.com blogs come with 3000 megabytes (~3 GBs) of space for storing uploaded files and images. There are also paid space upgrades available. Free blogs can upload images (jpg, jpeg, png, gif), documents (pdf, doc, odt) and presentations (ppt). See here please > http://en.support.wordpress.com/space-upgrade/

There are also numerous free image hosting sites and if you wish you can scroll down on this page to locate dome of them and search the internet for more. http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/ resources/

I myself made the download of fotos. I wanted to put them in my new space WordPress to complete my biography. I would like you make this for me separating pictures from personal fotos and from portraits (painting) Thanks. Celina Bittencourt.

Currently, you are permitted to upload the following file types to your WordPress.com blog (no upgrade required): Images, .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif
You can upload the documents to your WordPress.com blog using the Add Media icon (for images, use the Add an Image icon). http://en.support.wordpress.com/uploading-documents/

I´m going to upload my images, to my space WordPress. However I´m not able to do this – the only I can do on computer is to write.

@stornio, there is no option to allow visitors to upload images here. To upload images one would need to be put onto the blog as an author and then they could create their own posts. Turning the general public loose in the backend of a site is a bad thing though. A good number of them know nothing about image optimization for the web and upload images right out of their 12mp camera at 9 or 10MB each not only wasting a bunch of space, but also bandwidth.
