Need Plug-in Option on My Dashboard Menu
-
I am creating a WordPress website and I do not see a plug-ins option on my Dashboard menu. I cannot associate a URL with the new website yet because I have to keep it pointing to the current site until the new site is ready to launch. Any suggestions so that I can use plug-ins? Thank you in advance for your assistance.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we bloggers cannot install any plugins. There is no upgrade you can purchase that will provide FTP access and the ability to install plugins, upload themes, and/or edit templates and themes in a free hosted WordPress.com blog.

To use plugins you must hire a web host and then set up your own WordPress.org install. Please read this comparison > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ -
Please – stop asking about the shiny trinket toy – what Functionality are you missing??
the last “I need this plugin or my blog will not work” person I helped, when they finally ask for the Functionality – they found out that EVERYTHING they were looking for was already built in

Auxclass…I did start out by asking about functionality. I need to use tables on my website (tables within my page layout, NOT database tables) and each answer I received was a plug-in.
-
Note that if you use Windows Live Writer it has a tablemaker > http://en.support.wordpress.com/xml-rpc/windows-live-writer/
To create your own HTML tables see here > http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2013/04/09/table-coding-for-wordpress-com-users/ -
(tables within my page layout, NOT database tables) and each answer I received was a plug-in.
Then you are asking in the wrong place. And the answers are coming from people that don’t know what they are talking about. You can do tables here. Bit more work that a plugin but not much
Windows Live Writer (if you are on a PC – & there are editors for the MAC that should do tables also)
Also see below for everything you wanted to know about tables. See the link at the bottom to my site for table use here, had some help from Panos and one or two others in the help forum here
