Need recommendations for a scientific theme

  I am looking to change my theme from 2013 (when I started the website) to a newer, more versatile theme that will be used as a research and conservation website. I want to use all space from left to right on the page.
  Can anyone recommend several themes that might be what I am looking for? Paid themes are fine. I only want to do this once.

  It sounds like you’re looking to use something that’s full width perhaps? These might be of interest here: https://wordpress.org/themes/search/fullwidth/

  Is there another site you’re looking to emulate?
