Need sending IPs to fix domain SPF record.
-
The website provided (flawlessauto.net) has worked fine up until a month ago. It was set up with Zoho mail and the forms filled out on the site were automatically sent to the owners Zoho email addresses. Nothing was changed yet it stopped working a month ago. After contacting Zoho I was told that the WordPress Sending IPs must have changed and that I needed to update the website domains SPF records to include the new WordPress Sending IPs used for sending emails to fix this. So can I be provided the Sending IPs so I can fix this as it is a critical issue. Thank you.

This will need to be changed through your hosting provider, not us.
It appears you’re hosted with GoDaddy, and I believe this is what you’re looking for: https://www.godaddy.com/help/manage-dns-records-680

I know how to change DNS records, I can’t change them though without the proper information which Zoho informed me was the sending IPs. This is the exact email I received from Zoho Support:
“The email was sent by WordPress, since you have hosted your domain in WordPress. Please contact WordPress support and report the issue and request for all the sending IPs that they use to send emails and include them in your SPF record. This should solve your issue.”

I believe Zoho support is not informed about how WordPress works. Your email is tied to your domain, not your hosted website.
What they’re asking for is a type of TXT record in your DNS settings. This has nothing to do with the WordPress software and everything to do with your domain.
Here’s GoDaddy’s instructions on adding an SPF record:
https://www.godaddy.com/help/add-an-spf-record-19218
Since your domain is registered with GoDaddy, you need to set that up with them.
Zoho also has specific instructions on how to set this up for GoDaddy:
https://www.zoho.com/mail/help/adminconsole/spf-configuration.html#alink2
NOTE: We can only assist with websites hosted at WordPress.com. If you’re using the WordPress software, but hosted elsewhere, you will need to reach out to your hosting provider for guidance.
I hope that clarifies things.

The DNS has been configured exactly as the links show for over a year now and it has been working perfectly until a month ago. I just checked again and the TXT record is the same as it has always been and matches the links you sent me. I’ll send this thread to Zoho and see what they have to say.

This was the response from Zoho:
Please ask WordPress a simple question that if you submit a Contact form on your Website, who will send an email to your email address based on your configuration on WordPress? Please include those sending IPs in your SPF record to solve this issue.
Nowhere is Zoho involved in this scenario as to why your email is triggered from a Sendgrid IP. Please contact WordPress and try configuring your contact form settings again. If still facing issues, then please contact WordPress.

Hello there,
Please ask WordPress a simple question that if you submit a Contact form on your Website,
Just to check, what is the URL of the domain used with the email address exactly?
This will help to make sure the right DNS settings are being editing in the right direction.

Hi there,
We can’t help directly because we don’t host flawlessauto.net on our WordPress.com managed hosting. As a result we don’t have the ability to take a closer look at your site.
Instead your host (GoDaddy) uses the open-source variant of the WordPress platform which functions differently than what we offer here on WordPress.com. The good news though is that help is available via GoDaddy support.
Because they control the servers that their sites run on, they will be in the best position to look up the info that Zoho is requesting. Hope this helps point you in the right direction!
