Need SIMPLE site- suggestions please?

  I’m needing to reconstruct an existing website from another program. I am NOT tech savvy. I’m looking for a very basic website and want one without a blog, but can’t seem to find one. Suggestions for a theme to use please? I need a menu bar, header, and text boxes plus the capacity to embed PDF files into the site.

  All themes on WordPress.com can be used just with pages, and no blog.

  Could you provide a link to that site so I can have a look? I’ll be much better able to recommend a theme that suits your needs if I can see what you’re trying to recreate in WordPress.

  Just an observation – many people get hung up with the “make it look like this site” and put on blinders as opposed to looking at the functionality of a site – or in your case you want a “simple” site – almost every theme here can look “simple” – it sounds like you might want a full width Post / Page format (no sidebar)
