Need site database and website backup

I have a site that hasn’t been connected to a host for 3 years and I want to get it back up and running. Bluehost says they need database and website backup. How can I get my site that I still have on WordPress connected again to bluehost? I don’t want to lose any previously posted blogs.

Just to clarify, when you say the site is still on WordPress, is it hosted here on our services, or do you have a copy of your files and data that you’re keeping locally and hoping to import into a host again?
