Need site private when in development – option not showing in Reading settings
-
There isn’t an option to set my website on WordPress.com to private, please help! How can I accomplish this? Under the settings > reading page there’s just the option to discourage the search engines from indexing the site but no option to make it private.
The site is a new one I am working on – there’s two actually:
giddyupgear.horseflydigital.com and tequestrian.horseflydigital.comThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey there CJ, The two sites you linked are self-hosted sites. However, you’ve reached support for the free sites hosted at WordPress.com.
Because your site is self-hosted with a different provider, support staff at WordPress.com do not have access to your site’s files or the ability to provide support for your current issue.
You can find support for your self-hosted WordPress site here:

Sorry I can’t be of further assistance on this issue. I highly suggest speaking to your website’s host. They should have an easy way to make your site private while it’s in development. Thanks much and best of luck!

Haha thanks I figured it out. Yeah, I confused WP.org and .com all the time. Sorry about that and thank you for your reply!
