Need slider with captions

  Hi, who knows if there’s a theme having slider that displays full image captions?
  Or a plugin that does same?

  I need it to display the

  whole caption

  without the user needing to hover or click.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi @folderize!

  Can you say a little more about what you mean by “whole caption?”

  Post sliders usually show the title of the post they are displaying, and sometimes they will include an excerpt of the post itself.

  What did you want your slider to show? Is there and example you can send a link to? :)

  Hi Chad, thanks for responding. I meant a slider for photos, not for posts. The whole caption needs to be displayed with the photo, while maximizing the photo size (responsively). (OK if there’s some limit, perhaps 500 characters. Over that, perhaps a scroll bar or control to see the full caption without losing the photo view.)

  If I need to convert to wordpress.org to achieve this, that’s fine. Any help to point me in the right direction is appreciated.

  Thanks for the extra info :)

  If you’re working on a slideshow gallery, the gallery will maximize the size of the photo inside your theme’s content area.

  The amount of the caption displayed will also be determined by the width. The wider the content area, the more of the caption can fit.

  Beyond that (to specifically fine tune the length of the caption) you’d likely want to look into the self hosted option you mentioned :)
