  hello! I’m new here and dont know how to make my address appear on search engines such as googles and other.Somebody help out.thanks

  What is the URL of your blog? If you do a search of the forum for “registries” and “google” you’ll find a lot of threads with instructions on it. It’s also best if you put the issue you’re having right in the title; that way people who know the answer can respond to you, and we don’t all go reading threads we can’t help with.

  Is this the blog you are talking about http://samsministries.wordpress.com/ ? If so, you have only one post made on November 13, 2007. To get the attention of search engines, you have to have more content and post often. With only one older post, there is little chance you are going to make it onto the search engines, and certainly not very high up.

  I notice that you have not linked your wordpress.com username to your wordpress.com blog. If you do so then when you post comments others can click on your username and immediately connect to your blog.

  I also notice you have only a single post and a single category ie. Home.

  In a nutshell:
  (1) Promoting your wordpress.com blog will be more effective if you edit your profile and link your wordpress.com username to your wordpress.com blog.

  (2) Promoting your wordpress.com blog will be more effective if you regularly post high quality, original content posts to your blog and build a faithful readership.

  (3) Promoting your wordpress.com blog will be more effective if you tag your posts with categories that are specific to the topics in the blog post.

  (4) Promoting your wordpress.com blog will be more effective if you invest time and energy into leaving meaningful comments on other blogs, in forums and on websites related to your blogging topics.
