Alright girls and… mother, I see a very HuGe misunderstanding developing here in the start, and perhaps there is <Super strong>really<Cum super duper strong> no need to perpetrate a small ball of misunderstanding into a avalanche.
Well, Homeworkermother, Raincoaster is one of the most helpful girls here. And she’s straight as well. And dear Raincoaster, Homeworkermother is still a ‘victim calling for help’, maybe we should also be more understanding to her… plight.
And to the rest with the popcorns already… Other people’s misery may not be the best show for popcorns.
I am a nobody here. But WordPress community has been loaded with nice people, maybe we should try to be more understanding and slower on the trigger part. After all, one is a mother and on the other side is our fair lady Raincoaster.
As for the issue here… I don’t suppose that anyone can turn WordPress blog into a commercial blog for the sake of it. But, if you are the boss of LV or the game creator of Fallout series, for instance, I very much doubt the team will deny you of the rights to speak of your activities, talk about your products, state the prices, show everyone where the shop is and such; it’s still very much personal. So far that I learn, is that you shouldn’t rely solely on the blog to generate income such as using Adsense, placing paypal for transactions (not sure if possible for personal charity), you are not of cos allowed to make your readers pay you to acess your blog (such as you can create paying members to log onto your page) and such.
Correct me if I am wrong. :)
If you are a doctor, I believe you’d blog about probably your views on the drug you got in your store, maybe even describing the ‘products’, and how you cure patients and so on and so forth, and even introduce the location of where you work. This looks like commercial, but this is just blogging on personal basis.
I have seen people who are very interested in paintings and photography and willing to let other know or share how much they price their arts.
Actually, WordPress would have removed almost all the ‘gadgets’ which could commercialize your blog. You see, (eg) a WordPress blog should not be one site processing your orders automatically and processing the production or delivery notes online, this is pure abuse and pressuring to the server for the wrong purpose. If that is the case, WordPress would be losing out… providing free resources for such non-related activities. Got the point?

Just two major regrets here:
1. We have always been having a more or less cordial community in this forum…
2. Raincoaster has always been welcoming.Which is why I hope this can be resolved soon. It’s just a simple misunderstanding from how I see it. But err… I am not only an IT idiot, but I am also not very good in knowing what women think… :)

I’m sorry, I just have a real problem extending kindness to abusive, dumb people. Dumb people I have no problem with; it’s dumb people who scream abuse when I give them a simple answer that deserve the smackdown laid upon them. And confusion does not exempt one from the requirement not to start a cycle of abuse, agreed?
Once you start with me, only one can be left standing.
Also: I would have lost twenty bucks if I’d thought to make a bet. I’m astonished this hasn’t been kilt yet.
