need some help here about blogging

    hello,
    i created an initial blog on wordpress.com a few months ago. let’s say for example sake, my username on that blog is skyflyer. so my url was http://skyflyer.wordpress.com.

    then about a few months later, i created another blog under the same username, because you can register multiple blogs with the same username on wordpress. on this new blog, my username is bikerider2. so the url for the second blog was http://bikerider2.wordpress.com. however, i can only update the blog when i log into wordpress as skyflyer.

    both blogs are COMPLETELY different from each other and I don’t want one to ever associate or be mixed up with the other.

    my questions are :
    1) can i ever log into wordpress.com with the log in name as bikerider2 and view both blogs? is that even possible in wordpress?when i log in as skyflyer, i can see both the skyflyer blog and bikerider2 blog because skyflyer is my intial username on wordpress.

    2) when i post in the bikerider2 (second blog), it says the post is ‘posted by skyflyer’. how can i change this to make it say it was posted by bikerider2?? as i said before, i don’t ever want these two blogs to be associated with each other.

    If you do not want the two blogs associated then you have to have two separate accounts with one blog on each. It will require another unique email address for the second account. You cannot have the same email on multiple accounts.

    Create bikerider2 and then ask support to transfer that blog over to that username/account.

    so for question #2, if I ever post in the second blog bikerider2, I will always have it say ‘posted by skyflyer’??? I think that should be fixed, don’t you think, as it defeats the purpose of having multiple blogs on one account.

    If you set up a new account, and transfer the one blog over to that, then you will need to log out of the one blog and into the other to post on that blog. The two will be completely separate with separate logins.

    The login information (username/nickname) is per ACCOUNT not per blog. To have different logins – and “posted by” on each blog you have to have two separate accounts.

    Many people have multiple blogs on different topics and want them to all have the same “posted by.” In other words they want them to be connected in that way.

    If you want them separate, make a new account and have staff transfer bikerider blog over to that account.
