Need some help regarding building a website

    I would like to build a website for my personal use. It should be dynamic and i should be able to add and delete contents. I am basically into VM ware hence i don’t have any idea on programming. Hence i should be able to add and remove content using an interface. Is this possible? Also i have a domain on godaddy.com. I should be able to map the website developed on wordpress to that doamin. Is this possible?

    I would suggest you go to https://en.support.wordpress.com/start/ to take creating your website slowly and learning the ins and outs of the site! You can learn how to use the WordPress.com interface. VMWare should not effect how you use WordPress.

    Also i have a domain on godaddy.com. I should be able to map the website developed on wordpress to that doamin. Is this possible?

    Yes, this is very much possible. To do so, go to https://wordpress.com/domains/ > Choose you site (if applicable) > Click “Upgrade” > Enter the domain you would like to add.

    From here, you’ll need to do a few procedures at your GoDaddy site. You can find specific instructions at https://www.godaddy.com/help/set-custom-nameservers-for-domains-registered-with-godaddy-12317.

    You can also follow the instructions provided at https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/ if you get lost.
