Need some Help with the Category…
-
I’m not sure how well I can explain this, but I’ll try my best, and I didn’t see this around the Support forums, unless I somehow overlooked it.
So when I create a post, it has a picture on it, with a link and everything, and it falls under the default category. On the front page of my blog it shows the picture, link and everything else. However when I click on the default category which is 1, it links me to the post which doesn’t show the picture or the link. The title of the name of the post I added is a link, but I want the picture shown and the rest of the other links. How can I do this? Thanks for helping? If I somehow overlooked some answer to this question, I’m sorry. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Is this the blog you are asking about: http://nickwlee.wordpress.com/ ? I don’t see a category 1.

O It was Category 1, but I was messing around with it, so I changed it to that to test it. But yea the Picture of 2012 doesn’t show up, if you click on that category thing.

OK. I just wanted to be sure. Sapphire is one of the themes in which the excerpt function works in categories or archives. You’ll see there is an excerpt module on the post edit page. That is where you can make a custom summary.
I use this function all the time. I can include pictures and links which show as a summary on category and archive pages.
Here is an article with details:
