need some understanding in deleting my wpblog

i want to start over fresh. i have domain and hosting from hostgator but i just want to delete and start over at wp with the same domain. any suggestions?

You can use your domain with WordPress.com through domain mapping. Here’s how you would set that up: https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/
Please note that with WordPress.com we take care of the hosting so you do not need a separate hosting plan.
Self hosted WordPress sites use the installation of WordPress with a hosting company – those are different from what happens here at WordPress.com. Take a look at the differences outlined here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
