need staff to remove dormant admin user
-
I am the site creator and shortly after the initial setup created a second admin called “cfsa” so that that person could have upgrade billings sent directly to him and so that he could pay for them. He has never logged into the site and no longer remembers his credentials from years ago – and never paid for the upgrades which have long since lapsed. Can I please have that user removed as obviously I can’t do it even though I am the original and ongoing admin. Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi cfsaadmin,
As the site owner, you should be able to remove a user from your site by clicking on Users, putting your cursor on their username, and choosing Remove.

Please let me know if anything is unclear and I can tag this thread for the staff to assist you. Thank you!

I am the admin but cannot delete the other admin that I created. The “other admin” person can’t remember their logon credentials so they can’t do anything either. It appears an admin cannot delete an admin other then themselves and I’m the site owner so I can’t practically remove myself which I don’t want to do anyway.

That’s the owner of the blog. Only the owner can remove themselves by transferring the blog to another user: http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-wordpress-com-user-or-account

no it isn’t the owner – I am the owner (cfsaadmin), the creator of the site in 2008 (swsailor) and the one who later created him as an additional administrator so that he could pay the upgrades we used to have. However he is no longer the treasurer of the organization and to my knowledge never logged on. HE has long since forgotten his credentials so there is no way he can do anything.
Check the records for upgrades as well – I was the initiator of the upgrade to remove the blog navigation and dates that ran for one year and then was never renewed
thanks – Mo Alton

cfsa is still the owner of the blog. Whether he is treasurer, or active, or not, doesn’t really matter. We cannot take a blog away from its owner.
He can transfer the blog following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-wordpress-com-user-or-account
If he cannot access his account, he can follow this guide to recover it: http://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/
