need the contents of my site that i took down by mistake

    I created a new site using squarespace and unintentionally clicked something that put up the new site (hosted on godaddy) and took down the site I created with wordpress. All my content is gone. Is there any way to retrieve it?
    In the past, in order to edit my site I went to this url, but it doesn’t work anymore (it goes to NOT FOUND).
    I’D BE GRATEFUL IF ANYONE CAN HELP.

    Your website does not look like it is hosted on WordPress.com.
    We’re able to help only with websites hosted on WordPress.com.

    To clear up any confusion, there are 2 versions of WordPress. WordPress.com is a managed environment different from using the open source WordPress installation. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two, different entities.

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

    You might check in with your host to see if there’s an error log you could look at for more information. Or, you could look in this forum; perhaps someone there has experienced something similar:
