Need to add copyright notice

  Hello – I need to insert a copyright notice to my blog’s footer, but there is no “Editor” under “Appearance” nor a Footer section. How can I add a copyright notice please?

  Hi there,

  Your best option would be to use the text widget to place a copyright notice in your sidebar or in a footer. We have a help article which gives an example of some good copyright text right here:

  Hello and thank you for your response,

  I’m using the theme “customized origin,” which doesn’t seem to offer a widget for a footer. There IS an option to add a “customized menu,” but only to one page–not something that would display on all pages.

  Is my only remaining option with this theme to insert the copyright into the bottom of each and every post? I have experience with CSS, but it looks like WordPress wants me to pay for an “upgrade” to go in and directly insert a copyright notice.

  Nevermind! I believe I figured out what you meant above. A little improvising put it in my sidebar. No option to apply it to the footer. Thank you very much!
