Need to Cancel my Domain Upgrade
-
I just purchased a domain upgrade, and I unfortunately made a slight error in its naming (left the www prefix out, not crucial but I would like it to be in). Therefore, I would like to cancel my upgrade. I hope someone here can help me do so. Also, how long would it be until the domain is available again? Thank you.

The www is stripped by WordPress software.
http://www.your-site.com will become http://your-site.com
You should register “your-site.com” – DON’T try and put the “wwwyour-site.com” your visitors will have fits.
I have seen that it can take up to a month for a domain to be released back into the wild.
You can also contact the staff (they are on reduced staff levels for the holiday) http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/
There are others that might drop by and give you more help – I will flag this thread for the staff also.

Thanks a bunch auxclass!
I totally see what you’re saying. For some reason I forgot that was how WP works. I have another domain through WP (on a different account) and it has the www. prefix, so I was confused as to why it wasn’t appearing that way yet. I thought I missed something, but then I figured out I was able to set that during the hosting stage and migrating to WP.org
No need to cancel anymore. :)
