Need to cancel site I no longer have access to

  I made this website for a friend 5 years ago. I was supposed to transfer ownership to him, but then COVID happened and we both forgot. Today I discovered I’m still paying for it + a domain once per year. (My negligence/my fault)

  Welp the issue is I can’t figure out the login, or email I used to create it. (I actually think I may have created a temporary email or something so I could transfer it more easily). All I have are the transaction IDs from the last two times my credit card was charged. I tried entering these on WordPress’ Account Recovery tool and it was declined. ‘The receipt does not appear to be valid.’

  Does anyone have any idea what I could do to reach WordPress support? I would really like to complete whatever process is required to prove my ownership so I can cancel this website once and for all. Otherwise I suppose I will need to cancel my credit card and assume a new identity 😂
