I’d be happy to help.
Before I make these changes for you, I wanted to make sure you are aware that your domain “onemanbandfest.com” is set to expire on April 6, 2013. Once the domain expires, any DNS changes will not work.
You can renew your domain by going to Store -> My Upgrades and click the “renew now” button for the “onemanbandfest.com” domain.
Let me know if you have any questions.

I understand but i do not want to renw it or pay for another year im changing sites i just want to take my domain name to another sirte.
-
with the new hosts I have already payed the new hosts for the year, they will host my new website, does that make senseÉ
-
should I just wait until it expires and do it then right away? or should I cancel my subscription now?

I highly recommend you renew the domain here as the domain transfer process can take up to a week or more and if your domain expires in that time frame (which it will), you will lose control of the domain.
Domain expiration is a complicated process that can take up to 80 days to complete. During that time, you will not have any control or use over the domain and someone else will be able to purchase your domain at an expired domain auction. Here’s more information regarding domain expiration that explains this entire process:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/Please note, this process is set by the domain registrar, not WordPress.com.
I recommend you renew, wait for the ICANN required 60-day waiting period for domain transfers to expire, and transfer the domain to your new host. This is the only way you can ensure you will keep control of your domain. Here’s the FAQ from ICANN regarding the transfer lock:
http://www.icann.org/en/resources/registrars/transfers/name-holder-faqsPlease let me know if you renew your domain as we can point your domain to your new nameservers. After the 60 days are up, you’re free to transfer the domain out and we can help you with that at that time.
Let me know if you have any questions.

sorry Im having a little trouble wrapping my brain around all this.
If I renew the domain with wordpress, how soon after that could I then switch the nameservers to point to bandzoogle ? -
You can switch the nameservers immediately.
The 60-day lock is for transferring the domain registration from WordPress.com to another domain registrar – like GoDaddy. You can choose to keep your domain registration at WordPress.com and use the domain at Bandzoogle like you want.
I’m not familiar with Bandzoogle, so I’m not sure if they can accept incoming domain transfers – you would need to contact them to see.
Does that help? Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi there, Ive renewed the wordpress domain name..
Can you please help me change my domain’s DNS settings. to this:
dns1.sitezoogle.com
dns2.sitezoogle.comI have no idea how to do so

It looks like the transaction went through successfully.
I was going to go in and change your DNS for you – but your domain “onemanbandfest.com” is already pointing to those nameservers (changed onApril 4) – were you able to figure out how to do it yourself?
Regardless, it should take 24-48 hours for the DNS changes to take effect. If it still isn’t working for your new site, double check the nameserver settings with BandZoogle and we’ll try it again.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
