Need to change email address.

I’ve attempted to update my email address on my account; however my email address is not receiving the confirmation email? I have checked my junk file also.

Are you speaking of the email address for your WordPress.com username account, at https://wordpress.com/me/account?
I can see an email address change for this account two weeks ago, and the change was confirmed at the time. But I don’t see any attempts to change the email again since then.
If you’ve been trying to change it again, those changes aren’t even being submitted to our servers, so clear your browser cache, and unplug your modem/router for a few seconds to clear its cache. Then try again.
If that doesn’t help either, see if using another browser makes any difference.

Yes that’s right.
I cleared the cache and attempted another browser; however the email addrsss change still seems to sit on the site waiting. There is still no confirmation email being received.

Hi there, can you tell us what is the email address you are hoping to set this account to?
You can type it in your reply to us, and our forums software will hide the email address so it’s private and only staff can see it. Thanks!

That’s the email that’s currently set on your account, and it was verified 3 weeks ago when you first made this change. So you don’t need to do anything else at this time.
If I look at https://wordpress.com/me/account for your account I also don’t see any notice saying the email still need to be verified. Are you still seeing that on your end?

That’s strange.
When I access my website as an admin. It states my old email address as my current address (I also still receive any WordPress updates to that old address).
Also states:
“If you change this, we will send you an email at your new address to confirm it. The new address will not become active until confirmed.”
“There is a pending change of your email to (email visible only to moderators and staff).”
So unfortunately I do still see this pending message, but on my website admin page.

For what site is this? The WordPress.com account you’re using to post here doesn’t own any sites hosted with us.
Additionally, on WordPress.com email addresses are not linked to individual sites, but are set at the account level, and we don’t show any notifications regarding the account email address in the dashboard for individual sites.
Are you perhaps trying to change the admin user email for a stand-alone WordPress site, built using the open source software made on WordPress.org and hosted at another provider?
If so, that has nothing at all to do with your WordPress.com account you’re using to post here. The admin user account for your site is something completely separate and different, and only exists for that specific site. We don’t send the verification email when you change your account email there, but it’s sent directly from your site, using the
mail()function built into the WordPress software.If you’re not receiving these emails from your site, you can follow these steps to troubleshoot and fix that:

The heading mentions password reset emails, but the solutions suggested there should work for any emails sent out by your WordPress installation, that aren’t arriving.
