Need to change email address of site

  Dear WordPress customer support

  I have been dealing with a customer support person since the 23 April but the issue is far from resolved and I received an email asking me to rate my support so I am assuming he closed the job and I will receive no further support from him. I really need assistance.

  I have an old account from 2008 (not the account this message is sent from) – I only noticed it through google recently. Our pdf’s from the site are coming up on the internet and we need to remove them as they are impacting on our present business. My business partner at the time and I thought the account was closed by our provider but it seems it wasn’t. Unfortunately, neither have the email addresses we had in 2008 and that are linked to the account. I need to account email redirected so I can close the site. I did try to reset the password but then of course it went to the original email which is no longer active…. whatever I tried it didn’t work.

  As evidence that I owned the account I provided a bill with the email account name, an email that was addressed to me at the email address (both from 2008 – thank goodness for tax records. Also the phone number and my name on the public pages of the blog are still the same – anybody could call this number and I would answer. I am able to provide all this again.

  Although the customer support person asked me for this evidence he is now unwilling to acknowledge that I have provided it or give me access to my account. He did make the site private though (so doubly confusing for me that on the one hand won’t give me access but on the other takes an action at my request on the account). Although it is private all the documents are still readily available on the internet – I desperately need to close this account or delete the content. Can somebody please help me?? There seems to be no number I can call for help and after a week of dealing with a person who did not seem to understand the problem I now need to do this urgently.
