Need to change hosting? Im not sure

    We are trying to make a new website, but our parent comapny owns the domain. We currently use it on Wix, but how can I migrate the website to WP from Wix if the domaine is being held by the parent company?

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

    Will they be willing to work with you so you can own the domain or point it here? Or, are you hoping to create a new site with a different domain? Let us know what you have in mind and we can advise!

    Regarding moving the content itself from Wix, I’ve noticed several cases lately where they block our import tool, fully or partially. You can give it a try, but if you run into trouble, send a link to the site and we can make a recommendation from there.
