Need to Change Main Email

You resolved this, but I am assuming that you went to your Admin => Profile and then changed your email address, recieved the confirmation email and then changed it. Correct?

It’s important that the change be made on this page or else it will not “take”.
I know this from personal experience.

E-mail address: _____________
This address is used only for admin purposes. If you change this we will send you an email at your new address to confirm it. The new address will not become active until confirmed.
Click “Update Options” to save.Until this process has come to an end and the new email address is active you will not be able to successfully change it on this page -> Users -> Your Profile

I went nuts with this one day until I used the correct sequence then VOILA! all was good.

Would editing the email the other way with problems then warrant a MU TRAC ticket then Mark?

The “resolved” was an error, I must have scrolled it by accident, although it may be resolved now.
1) TT, thank you! You were correct and that was my problem at “General Options” section. It never “took”, until I did it as you suggested.
2) Trent: The above works, but I cannot change the “Your Profile and Personal Options” page at Contact Information because it says “ERROR: That email address is already used by someone else” (me).
I just want to make sure my domain email is used, in case the current default (yahoo) is deleted. I will keep looking into the second problem. Thanks again to both of you.
