    i need to change my domain i missed something out on the plan i bought but i then bought the correct domain but then cancelled it as i realised i could changed my original one within 96 hours but now i cant buy the correct one as its associated with my other wordpress account

    my son helped to set my website up and used the wrong domain i didnt realise it could be changed within 96 hours so i set a new wordpress up with the correct domain but no plan when i realised it could be changed i cancelled my correct domain in order to swap it to my plan with the wrong domain but now it says its unavailable is there anything i can do?

    In a nutshell, though: you cancel a new domain it will go into holding for a bit. Please let us know which of these options works best for you:

    Wait: You can wait about five days for the domain to be released. So long as no one else buys it before you do, you can purchase it again here or with another provider.

    Repurchase the Domain: We can send an invoice for the domain. Once it’s restored, it will redirect to your free site, or you can point it to another host and transfer after 60 days.

    Purchase an Annual Plan: To host your site here after all, buy an annual plan, skip the domain option, then update us here.

    hello thank you for getting back to me i have purchased the premium plan with the domain davidbowespaintingdecorating which was wrong so i then bought the correct one with a new email account as i didnt realise i could change it so i bought davidbowespaintinganddecorating just on its own through wordpress but then cancelled it i would like this domain on my premium plan i bought

    hi yes I made another purchase of davidbowespaintinganddecorating but cancelled it it’s still not been released 1 week later I bought this one with a different email address will I be able to re purchase it and transfer it to my paid plan please?

    Thanks for clarifying. It looks like we gave you the wrong information. Normally domains will reappear in the domain marketplace 5 days after cancellation, but that is not what happens with .uk domains – they’re held for the entire domain term of one year before they’re released.

    We can get the davidbowespaintinganddecorating.co.uk domain back under your @davidbowes1 account, but you will need to pay for the domain again since you received a refund. Let us know and we can send a payment request right away.

    yes that would be perfect I don’t mind paying for it again I didn’t realise what I was doing and then when I buy it will that be ok to link it to my paid plan
