Need to change my email address as I no longer have access to the email I set up the account with.
-
When I originally created my account it was for study and work so I created it with my work email address. As I have retired I no longer have access to this account. I tried to change the email address but the confirmation email was sent to the email address I have no access to. Can you please change my email address from (email visible only to moderators and staff) to (email visible only to moderators and staff)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
I tried to change the email address but the confirmation email was sent to the email address I have no access to.
What makes you think that it was sent to email address that you have no access to? That shouldn’t have happened. When you update an email address, the confirmation link is sent to the new address. The Update Email Address support page says:
Once you’ve entered a new email address and clicked “Save Account Settings,” you’ll receive an email at the new address with a confirmation link. You must click the confirmation link to confirm the change and update the email on your account.
Have you looked for the email message at the new address? If not, you might try checking the Social folder, or even Spam.
If you definitely didn’t receive it, then you might have chosen an email address that is already associated with another WordPress.com account. If that’s the case then see the Issues Changing your Email Address section of the support page for instructions on how to solve the problem.
