Need to change NS – No store button
-
This is for laurenlindley.com. A WhoIs search says the domain is registered with Wild West Domains, but they said it’s registered at WordPress.com. I need to change the NS and I see the instructions to click on the Store button, but there is no Store button in the dashboard at laurenlindley.com/wp-admin or laurenlindley.wordpress.com/wp-admin. Also, I can find no record or information in this account about the registered domain. Can anybody help me figure out how to change the NS? Thank you.

Hi there,
It looks like you are pointing the nameservers to DreamHost as seen here:
http://who.wildwestdomains.com/whoisstd.aspx?domain=laurenlindley.com&prog_id=wildwestdomains
After looking into the domain is was registered through us, but it is not in the account you are currently writing from: lclindley
Please log into the account that is holding the domain and go to Store > My Domains in your Dashboard. Then click edit Domain and you will have access to update your nameservers.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

Is there a way to recover or lookup the username under which it was registered if it’s lost?
-
Yes! Since you purchased the domain you will have a PayPal transaction ID that you can use to recover your account. All our payments are processed by PayPal (even if you paid directly with a credit card).
PayPal can provide you with this transaction ID that we can then verify on our end. It’s a 17-digit number. You can reach them at these numbers:
1-888-221-1161
1-402-935-2050 (if calling from outside the U.S.)You can find additional ways to contact PayPal here:
https://www.paypal.com/us/contactus
Once you have that fill out our Account Recovery Form and one of our staff members will get you back into your account!
