Need to change spelling error in new blog domain…
-
Hello,
I just created a blog, and I accidentally put “barefeet” instead of “barefoot” in the domain name. (barefeetwalking.wordpress.com) How silly. Anyway, I see how to change this in general settings, but when I changed it, I noticed that it did not change when I visited my blog again. Is it possible to change that in just general settings? I only have one post so far, but don’t want to lose the pages I set up or anything. Thanks so much,
JoannaThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There is no means of editing a URL.
Moreover, that URL is not available: http://barefootwalking.wordpress.com/
There is no expiration date on blogs unused or otherwise. If you can make contact on your own with the owner of an unused blog then there is a means of a consenting blog owner to transfer the blog to another username account. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-accountIn the case that there is no contact information Staff will not breach the privacy policy and provide you with an email address.
if you are not successful, you can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Or you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.
