    Hi there,

We don’t currently provide any support via phone, however I would be more than happy to help you configure your email settings through this forum.

What are the email settings which your email provider gave to you? If you have the exact settings which they said you should put in to place, I can take a look at what you already have and see where things are going wrong!

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

This is the information I have been given –

I.P address – create – email record to ip address 103.226.222.62

set up mx record – domain name – mail.e-designaustralia.com

OK, that should not be a problem!

I have added those settings to your account. You can check them out by clicking here:

    https://edesignaustralia.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains

and then going to Edit Domain >> Edit DNS.

Remember that any DNS change can take between 10 minutes and several hours. You’ll want to be patient while these changes propagate through the internet, but if it isn’t working in a few hours, you may want to get in touch with your email provider, ask them if there is anything that needs to be done on their end, and if the DNS settings look OK. If not, what needs to be updated?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Thanks for your help. I’ve just got off the phone with my email host and looks like they gave me the wrong number for the i.p address sorry!

    it is – 103.226.222.162

Are you able to correct this,
    Thankyou

Oh that’s not a problem at all!

I’ve gone in and fixed it for you, though again in the future you can do it yourself by going to Store >> My Domains >> Edit Domain >> Edit DNS. It’s always good to know how to work these things in case it’s an emergency!

That change has been put through though and you should see the changes being reflected in a few minutes to an hour or so.
