Need to customise the homepage

    Hi

    I am trying to add certain sections to the homepage.

    I want to be able to add some market information and local travel information at the top of the page. Is that possible?

    Additional customisation is needed can anyone help?

    The theme you selected does not include spaces for any additional information on the homepage. It’s designed to be quite minimal and only highlight your posts.

    You can add some content to the sidebar widget. (If you visit https://karammedia.wordpress.com/ and click on the menu, the three black lines in the upper right hand corner, you’ll see the sidebar and can add content there).

    But, that won’t be readily available to your readers.

    If you want something that all of your readers will see right away, you may want to choose a different theme.

    If you do want to add the content to the sidebar widget, here’s a few links that will point you in the right direction.

    First, you’ll want to add your content to your WordPress sidebar widget area. You can learn about widgets at: https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/

    There are many different widgets to choose from, but based on what you are describing, the text widget would probably work best for you: https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/text-widget/
