Please post the site link in question.Assuming that you want to deactivate http://newhomesingapore.wordpress.com/,
There are two ways to deactivate your site:
1. Private Your Site
You can make your site as private so that no one visiting the URL cannot view your site. In this way you do not loose your site permanently.Read more about it here:

You can follow the instructions given in this support document to delete your site: https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/NOTE: Deleting a site will delete all the contents associated with that site, which cannot be recovered and the address associated with the deleted site cannot be used by anyone again(not even by the owner).
So if you want to keep your current blog address you can empty your site, instead of deleting it.

the website http://www.newhomesingapore.com has already been deleted but the website is still registered under wordpress. i have send a request to free up the domain. can you help me check if we can speed up the progress?

If you want to talk to the staff here then you can tag this thread with the modlook tag on the Tags section of the sidebar.
However, if you have already contacted support using this: https://wordpress.com/help/contact, then there’s no need use modlook. Staff will assist you via email.

Deleting a site is permanent and the process cannot be reversed. For this reason we are unable to recover the WordPress.com address, but you can create a new site with a similar name:

i need to register the domain name http://www.newhomesingapore under another hosting company but currently the website still seems to be registered under wordpress. can someone help to unregister it please?

You cancelled the domain and if you want to get it back again, there are a couple of options:
1. I restore the domain to your account for you.
A refund has already been sent so I would need to create a payment request for the domain cost ($18). You will need to create a new site in your account for me to restore the domain to.
It is only possible to transfer a domain 60 days after the registration date. This 60 day lock is required by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and cannot be waived.
However, the name servers can be changed to point to another website until the domain is ready for transfer.
2. Wait for the domain to be released.
This is the risky option because there is no guarantee you will be able to get it back again. The domain will not be released until its expiration date next year.
Please let me know which option you would prefer.

i wish to reregister the domain name myself. but currently its still being registered by wordpress. possible to release it please?
previously when i request for a refund the domain name was deregistered within 1 week. this time round it is almost 2 weeks. -

I double checked the domain and it appears you re-registered it with us on 18th April. This is a bit of an unusual situation as you have been refunded and the upgrade is no longer active on your account.
As you have received a refund, the domain is not active on your account but it is registered to you.
I can either:
1. Send a payment request a restore the domain to a new site in your account. Once 60 days has passed you will be able to transfer the domain. Until this time, the name servers can be updated to point to a different site.
2. I cancel the domain and you wait for it to be released. As I mentioned in my last reply, this will take a while.

the reason y i need to register it elsewhere is because wordpress doesnt allow users to install customized themes. can u advise if i do it this way i can install the theme?

On WordPress.com, you can choose from any of these themes:
Thirty party or custom themes are currently only supported on self hosted WordPress.org sites.
please join the domain to my bluehost account how do i do tat?
First you will need to ask Bluehost for their name servers. If you let me know what they are, I will add them for you :) Once they have been updated, the domain will point to your Bluehost site until it is possible to transfer it.
