Need to delete a website i no longer have login for

    I made a website in 2014/2015 with an email that no longer exists; I don’t remember my password and can’t recover it since I do not have email access. I don’t want the website up anymore, as it has my name in it and comes up when you Google my name, but it has nothing to do with my current work/life. Is there a way to get it removed by WordPress?

    Hi there:

    If you have the transaction IDs from charges on this account, you can use the Account Recovery form to prove ownership of the site, then WordPress.com support can help you from there. You can find that form here:

    https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery

    Just fill out as much information as you have, including an email address where Support can get in touch. The transaction ID will be on your bank statement as WordPress followed by a letter/number code. They’ll look like this:

    WordPress XXXXXXXXXX
